The love story continues between Vanessa Paradis and Chanel’s Karl Lagerfeld. The fashion house called on the French actress-singer-composer to be the face of its new Coco Cocoon bag collection.
This is her fifth collaboration with the House of Chanel. The French star is already the face of the Rouge Coco line of lipsticks. Now she will also be an ambassador for the brand’s bags.
She takes over from British singer Lily Allen as the face of Coco Cocoon.
Chanel will unveil the first images of this new ad campaign starring Paradis next month.
Johnny Depp’s longtime partner represented Chanel’s Coco perfume. In 1992, she played a bird of paradise perched on a trapeze for that perfume campaign.
She was also the face of its Cambon leather goods in 2003. Karl Lagerfeld himself photographed Vanessa Paradis for the Cambon ad campaign. That line now has several new designs.
