Despite recent reports, Velvet Revolver is still looking for a replacement for Scott Weiland, who left the band last year.
According to RollingStone.com, rumours were circulating the Web that Canadian singer, Gord Prior of the Blu Bones, was the new frontman, after videos of Prior singing Velvet Revolver songs were posted on YouTube.
A representative for the band revealed, “Gord Prior isn’t the new guy. In fact, no decision has been made as to who the singer is.”
Prior is only one of the singers being considered for the position, but he has not yet auditioned for the band.
