Rob Thomas has revealed that his television series, Veronica Mars, will be made into a movie.
Thomas hinted that Joel Silver (The Matrix) is interested in producing the project.
However, the star of the series, Kristen Bell, has not confirmed her participation, although it is believed that negotiations are underway.
In the series, Bell plays a student who moonlights as a private investigator. Thomas didn’t reveal any details about the show’s plot, but mentioned that the FBI would be part of the story line.
Kristen Bell has a few films coming out, including Serious Moonlight and When in Rome, although release dates have not been set.
