Victoria Beckham wants her sons to take up fishing.
The fashion designer is encouraging her boys – Brooklyn, 14, Romeo, 11, and Cruz, eight – to try classic British outdoor pursuits when she and her retired soccer star husband David Beckham buy a country home in the Cotswolds, central England.
A source told the Daily Mirror newspaper: ”Victoria wants the boys to take up fishing and horse riding – real upper-class outdoors activities. She loves the idea of David taking them out to do things like that as a family.”
However, Victoria is unlikely to be getting her immaculately manicured hands dirty, but will be happy to cheer her boys on from the sidelines alongside her two-year-old daughter Harper.
The insider confirmed: ”She’ll be happy to watch.”
The A-list couple are rumored to be house-hunting in the villages of Chipping Norton and Tetbury in the hopes of finding a country retreat for the family.
The move has apparently been spurred by David’s newfound love of country rambles.
A source said: ”Recently, David has adopted a new hobby, walking, and he loves to do it in the countryside. His idea of a great weekend is a long, countryside stroll. They’re looking for a slow-paced lifestyle when they’re not working.”
