Victory of the Rocket: a first point for David Reinbacher this season

The start of the season has been very difficult for Montreal Canadien fans, as they had to settle for a seriously injured David Reinbacher who was not playing, while Will Smith, Matvei Michkov, and Zach Benson were performing at the highest level, namely in the National Hockey League.
For a fifth overall pick, the expectations are very high, and therefore, seeing players drafted just before or just after Reinbacher already playing in the NHL and performing, it was worrying about the choice that the CH had made.
Luckily, the Austrian defender recovered from his injury faster than expected, and he has been back in action for a few weeks, playing his first games of the season with the Laval Rocket.
Moreover, last night, as he played his 4th game of the season, Reinbacher scored his first point of the season.
In fact, Rocket’s number 64 served a clever pass to his captain, Lucas Condotta, on the power play.
Here is the sequence.

This is a well-deserved first point for Reinbacher, as he has been playing very good hockey since joining the Laval Rocket.
He is improving with each of his games, and he is already becoming a cornerstone of the Rocket’s defense.
The pair he forms with Adam Engstrom is really solid, and it allows Laval to lead the game almost every time they are on the ice.
In short, Reinbacher played another good game in addition to scoring his first point of the season, and this was in a 4-1 victory for the Rocket against the Belleville Senators.

It’s worth noting that Sean Farrell, who has been at the top of the American League for 10 games, got an assist and therefore extended his streak to five games with at least one point.
This is a great victory for the Rocket, which now finds itself three points behind the top of its division and the top of the AHL, with also two games in hand over the Rochester Americans.

In short, things are going well for the Rocket, and let’s hope it goes as far as possible in the playoffs, which would allow Reinbacher to play as many games as possible.
