Video Directed By Heath Ledger Released

A video from the American rock group Modest Mouse, directed by the late Heath Ledger, will soon be unveiled.

Actor Heath Ledger, who died in January 2008, had begun directing a video for the song, King Rat, shortly before his death. The tragic event did not allow him to finish his work.

The production company has decided to finish the job and the clip will be aired for the first time on MySpace Music.

Modest Mouse singer, Isaac Brock, talked about his first meeting with Ledger. He said, "Heath and I have a mutual friend and when we were in Australia, some of us in the band went out on a boat with him and his family and friends and talked about the idea."

Profits from the download of the video during the first month will be given to The Sea Shepherd Conservation Society, an organization that advocates for the conservation of marine habitats around the world.
