The film from the same director as Brokeback Mountain and Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon, stars Tony Leung, Tang Wei, Joan Chen and Wang Lee Hom.
The Asian film star Tony Leung (Hero, In the Mood for Love), plays M. Yee, a political figure from 1940s Shanghai during World War II. Tang Wei, a Chinese star, will make her debut as Wang Jiazhi, a woman who will go on a dangerous and emotional journey with M. Yee.
