The trailer for the romantic drama, The Reader, has been released on the Internet.
After World War II, a young German man, Michael, is being treated for an illness by a woman who is twice his age called Hanna. While recovering from scarlet fever, the two fall passionately in love.
One day, Hanna mysteriously disappears leaving Michael confused. Later, as a law student attending a Nazi war crime hearing, he finds Hanna once again. Secrets from Hanna’s past emerge, changing both of their lives forever.
Ralph Fiennes, Kate Winslet and David Kross star in the film. The Reader will be released in selected theatres on December 10, and worldwide on January 9.
