The film was directed by Michael Bay (Armageddon, Pearl Harbor), and follows the story of two opposing alien races, Optimus Prime and Megatron.
Shia LaBeouf, Megan Fox, Josh Duhamel, Jon Voight, Bernie Mac, Tyrese Gibson, Rachael Taylor, Amaury Nolasco, Kevin Dunn and Ronnie Sperling complete the cast of the film, which was inspired by the popular product of the 1980s.
