A message was posted on the band’s official website by singer Rivers Cuomo that confirmed that the group is currently working on songs that they plan to begin recording in July.
Cuomo also confirmed that the recording session will be completed for their sixth album, which should be released at the beginning of 2008.
Weezer’s last album, Make Believe, was released in 2005.
