Weezer, Take 3

According to Billboard.com, the Californian group will be launching their sixth album under the label Geffen. The disc, Weezer, is the third self-titled album by the band. 

The group’s singer, Rivers Cuomo wrote on Weezer’s website, "The album is meaty, crunchy and melodic like a good Weezer album should be."

Cuomo also described other compositions, which were co-produced with Rick Rubin, as "dark and deep and beautiful," and "definitely more sophisticated and adventurous.” 

The band’s last album, Make Believe, came out in 2005.
