They met at the MTV Video Music Awards last year and dated only three months before the British comic popped the question.
The buzz surrounding their upcoming nuptials has been insatiable. Perry admits she and her fiancé are spreading rumours to keep people from finding out the truth.
The California Gurls singer revealed: "Russell makes up these really crazy stories about me and our wedding. I make up stories, too! I hear these crazy stories – we are going to get married in latex, underwear, in Spandex, in Japan, in India, in Thailand."
The latest location being reported is Hawaii. Sources say the couple will tie the knot in an intimate ceremony on the island of Maui.
Perry admitted: "But I think all this craziness is really funny. And I don’t set the record straight as I love this chaotic circus of wrong information, because it is not really anyone else’s business beside the people that we have invited and us, of course."
