Last night (July 14), Houston made her first world premiere in promotion of her new album, I Look to You, reports Billboard.com.
Houston, who seemed to be in top shape, briefly appeared on stage at the Mandarin Oriental Hotel in Knightsbridge, after Clive Davis of Sony Music played nine songs off the album.
I Look to You is set to be released on September 1 in the United States, and the British release date is set for August 31 via RCA.
Describing the album as "a labor of love," the singer stated, "I hope that these songs stay with you for a lifetime."
