On Wednesday (August 19), Cyrus went to say good-bye to the Australian actor at a Nashville airport. According to actor Alex Emanuel, who was a few feet from the lovebirds, Cyrus, 16, was, "as giddy as a schoolgirl."
Emanuel revealed that the moment Hemsworth arrived at the airport, Cyrus threw her arms around his neck and started kissing him. He added, "It was like a scene out of an old movie where the guy’s getting on a train and they’re saying their goodbyes."
The two were filming The Last Song on Georgia’s Tybee Island. Meanwhile, Cyrus’ Twitter status is set as single.
