The New York Times is reporting that the host of American Idol felt that his life was too hectic to pursue a romantic relationship. After a few dates, where the two were photographed kissing, Seacrest called Hatcher on the telephone to tell her his decision.
While being interviewed by Oprah Winfrey, Hatcher revealed, "I haven’t seen him since that day. We knew that the pictures had been taken, which must have bothered him enough.”
Seacrest seems to believe that Hatcher is a good catch, but he says the timing isn’t right for him. He said, "She’s clever. She’s self-deprecating. She’s successful. She can pay for dinner."
