Wilco will be releasing a DVD, entitled Ashes of American Flags, featuring concert footage before they release a new album.
The DVD should be released in February or March, before the group’s next disc, which is currently being recorded.
The footage was directed by the band’s long-time collaborators, Brendan Canty and Christoph Green of Trixie Films.
The two men worked on the solo DVD from the band’s frontman, Jeff Tweedy, called Sunken Treasure, which accompanied certain editions of Wilco’s 2007 album, Sky Blue Sky.
Wilco has scheduled some concerts in the United States in April before starting their Spain tour in May.
