According to a report from Starpulse.com, director Baz Luhrmann desperately wants to team with Beyoncé and Hugh Jackman for a new musical film, after having worked with them on a number for Oscar night.
The Moulin Rouge! director was behind the montage that Knowles and Jackman performed last month, where they sang Lady Marmalade, All That Jazz and Somewhere Over The Rainbow.
Beyoncé has already starred in musical film roles, including playing Etta James in 2008’s Cadillac Records, and her role in Dreamgirls in 2006.
Luhrmann is convinced that Beyoncé is destined to follow in the footsteps of big singers like Barbra Streisand and Diana Ross.
