According to a report from Starpulse.com, Beyoncé Knowles was approached to play singer Eartha Kitt on the silver screen.
If the ex-Destiny’s Child member takes the role, this would be her third role personifying a renowned singer, after she played Diana Ross in Dreamgirls and Etta James in Cadillac Records.
"I was going to do a film about Eartha Kitt. It’s a great story, but I don’t know if it’s still happening. If it does, it’ll just fall into place," the 27-year-old singer explained.
Eartha Kitt died at age 81 last Christmas, after a long battle with cancer.
