According to a report by UsMagazine.com, Britney Spears may be making an appearance at this year’s Video Music Awards.
Van Toffler, president of MTV Networks Music Group, said, "Everyone deserves a second or third chance, right?"
Last year, Spears gave one of her worst performances ever at the show, which took place in Las Vegas. Her performance of Gimme More was a huge disappointment, and the star was later seen crying backstage.
This year’s VMAs will take place at Paramount Pictures Studios in Los Angeles on September 7.
Toffler added, "I’m not sure how we top Britney opening the show. We are working on it every minute of every day."
