Entertainment Weekly reports that Summit Entertainment is currently in talks with several potential directors to take on Eclipse, the third Twilight sequel.
Among those being considered, we find actress Drew Barrymore, who recently signed on for her directorial debut with Whip It!, starring Ellen Page (Juno). The film is expected to open this year.
Summit Entertainment just gave the green light to make the third sequel to Twilight, which is expected to hit the big screen on June 30, 2010.
Shooting for New Moon will soon be underway.
Meanwhile, Barrymore can now be seen in He’s Just Not That Into You, while her next film, Grey Gardens, heads to the box offices in April.
