Will.i.am angry over song leak

Musician vents frustration on Twitter as his song Great Times leaks ahead of release.

Black Eyed Peas member will.i.am was left fuming when an unfinished version of his upcoming solo track, Great Times, leaked early online, reports Teen Music.

"Great Times the song that’s leaked is the wrong version, wrong music, the wrong song… (The internet is so disrespectful)… I hate leaks," he wrote on Twitter after discovering a rough version of his track had surfaced online.

"Why do all this work when websites[…] publish unofficial songs… at least let me release it first… this is so wrong… I never wanted that version to be released… I am soo angry right now… who leaked this???… this is not how it should be… not cool!!!" he added.

In a third tweet, he offered some insight into how the music industry works and why early leaks can hurt the process: "You can’t just release music until all the business is handled… collaborators, publishers, copyrights… (business)… this is disrespect."
