will.i.am wants to work with Girls Aloud now his good friend Cheryl Cole has reunited with her bandmates following a three-year hiatus.

The Black Eyed Peas star already has a close relationship with Cheryl Cole and is now keen to collaborate with the rest of her bandmates – Kimberley Walsh, Sarah Harding, Nadine Coyle and Nicola Roberts – after they recently reunited following a three-year hiatus.

He said: "I could do a track with Girls Aloud. That’d be dope to be surrounded by lots of hot-nisses. I’d also love to work with Prince."

Cheryl and will.i.am – who is also the ‘Call My Name’ hitmaker’s manager – have appeared on each other’s solo records in the past; with her featuring on his singles ‘HeartBreaker’ and ‘Check It Out’, and him lending vocals to her 2009 track ‘3 Words’.

He recently spoke out about how proud he is of Cheryl and couldn’t wait to work with her again.

He said: "We are now dreaming up what the next project we do should look like and feel like. I cant say what it is but I want to leave that to her to announce. From working with Cheryl I’ve learned to put the right people together and going out and meeting talented, creative and relentless folks to surround her with.

"I am proud of Cheryl and she’s fresh. We are a team."
