FemaleFirst reports that Patrick Swayze is doing fantastic after battling pancreatic cancer. In fact, the actor has even received several offers, including one to make a new Dirty Dancing movie.
Swayze may be returning to his role as Johnny Castle. The role shot the actor to stardom in 1987. A spokesperson for Swayze confirmed that several offers have been made to the star, including a Dirty Dancing television series. Swayze made a cameo appearance as a dance instructor in the 2004 film Dirty Dancing: Havana Nights.
The actor returned to the set of his television series, The Beast, on Monday (July 28). When he was diagnosed with cancer earlier this year, he was not expected to recover so quickly and so well.
We can next see Patrick Swayze in the film Powder Blue with Jessica Biel. The movie opens in theatres on December 31.
