Smith and his wife, Jada Pinkett Smith, were introduced to Scientology by their friend Tom Cruise, but Smith chose not to follow this religion.
He explained, "I don’t necessarily believe in organised religion. I don’t believe Muslims have all the answers and all the beliefs. I don’t believe Christians have all the answers and beliefs, or that Jews have all the answers."
Despite his doubts, Smith and his wife are still active members of the Church of Scientology and justifies it by saying that all humans have the right to believe in what they wish.
