Smith said that he wouldn’t be able to refuse playing the role of Barack Obama on the silver screen if he were asked, reported FemaleFirst.
However, even if he is a fervent Obama supporter, Smith has no intention of going into politics. "It’s a whole lot more fun to be a movie star. The President is a difficult job with a whole lot of lives on the line with every decision you make," confessed the actor. He added, "In my job I can just bring joy. I don’t have to bring bad news so I think I’ll stay in my position for quite a long time."
Smith also recently admitted that he would like to play South African president Nelson Mandela and singer Marvin Gaye in films about their lives.
