Will Sting Return to the Big Screen?

Sting could be making a comeback to film in a flick written by a close friend.

Sting is reportedly set to play a strict director in a film written by his good friend, Simon Astaire.

The film is based on Astaire’s novel, Private Privilege. The author thinks that the singer would be perfect for the part.

"They have known each other for years and go walking together in the Himalayas. Simon is hoping Sting will play the part," a source told the Britain’s The Mail.

The last time Sting appeared in a movie was for 1998’s Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels, directed by Guy Ritchie.
