Will There Be a Fourth Resident Evil?
According to EmpireOnline, Paul W. S. Anderson, who directed the first Resident Evil, is talking to Sony Pictures about making the fourth film of the franchise.
The second and third films were directed by Alexander Witt and Russell Mulcahy, respectively, and Anderson acted as producer and screenwriter.
Although Anderson revealed that he may direct the tentative project, he added that he has no idea what the scenario will be.
The first Resident Evil, released in 2002, starred Milla Jovovich as Alice. Next, there was Resident Evil: Apocalypse, which hit theatres in September 2004, and the last film, Resident Evil: Extinction, was released in September 2007.
In the meantime, Paul W. S. Anderson brings us the action film Death Race, starring Jason Statham, on August 22.
