Britain’s Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have been left furious after pictures of a pregnant Catherine in a bikini have been published in an Italian magazine.
The royal couple – who are expecting their first child together – are currently holidaying with the duchess’ family on the private island of Mustique and the photos show Catherine’s ever-growing baby bump as she relaxes on the beach.
Gossip magazine Chi – which caused outrage when it published a photograph of William’s mother Princess Diana as she lay dying – have decided to print the image as have Australian publication Woman’s Day.
Chi magazine, which is owned by former Italian prime minister Silvio Berlusconi, boasts: ”The extraordinary images of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge on their dream holiday in the Caribbean.
”The future mum, now four months pregnant, wore a tiny bikini which showed off her visible bump.”
However a St James’s Palace spokesperson said: ”We are disappointed that photographs of the Duke and Duchess on a private holiday look likely to be published overseas.
”This is a clear breach of the couple’s right to privacy.”
The news of the pictures comes six months after images of Catherine -who was known as Kate Middleton before her 2011 wedding – were published of her sunbathing topless.
