William H. Macy (Bobby) has joined the cast of the film Shorts, directed by Robert Rodriguez (Spy Kids).
Shorts is a comedy about a monotonous suburb, where all the houses are identical and everyone works for Black Box, a manufacturer producing the latest communications gadget. The town goes into a frenzy when a young 11-year-old boy discovers a rainbow-coloured wish-granting rock, stirring up a little chaos.
Jon Cryer, Leslie Mann, James Spader, Jimmy Bennett, Kat Dennings, Trevor Gagnon, Leo Howard, Devon Gearhart, Rebel Rodriguez, Jake Short, Jolie Vanier are also part of the cast. The film is being shot in Austin, Texas.
