Fielder-Civil, 25, is accused of trying to bribe a witness in a trial against him for assault. He will remain behind bars until January 18, his next court date.
Winehouse, 24, shed a tear as she heard the judge’s decision to keep her husband incarcerated. Fielder-Civil was rushed out of the courtroom, but gave Winehouse a signal that he will call her. The Rehab singer arrived at the courthouse with her mother-in-law, her husband’s younger brother, and a friend.
Upon leaving the courthouse, Winehouse refused to give any comments to the reporters waiting outside. She sped off in a car with tinted windows.
Winehouse is scheduled to perform tonight (November 23) at the Brixton Academy in London.
