Ryder now reveals that her father, Michael Horowitz, was against her wedding plans, because she was only 17 years old. In an interview with Vogue magazine, Horowitz said, "They were the hottest couple in the US at that time, like Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are now. They were cool."
Ryder, who is now 35, never married Depp, and the two split in 1993.
