Following rumours that the Australian group Wolfmother was having some issues, the trio made an official statement announcing their separation, reports NME.com.
In the statement, the record label Universal Music Australia revealed that the breakup was due to, "longstanding frictions."
However, singer Andrew Stockdale hopes to continue making music under the name Wolfmother. He is looking for new musicians to recruit and wants to record a new album before the end of the year.
