Woman arrested after practical joke goes wrong

A woman has been arrested for shoving a police officer into a bush.

The official was seen standing waiting to be interviewed for TV to talk about crowd behaviour at the Melbourne Cup in Australia when a woman approaches him and pushes him backwards into a bush.

She was subsequently grabbed by two nearby officers, who arrested her on the spot.

Unfortunately for the woman, however, it transpired to be a practical joke that had gone badly wrong, as she was overheard by a camera crew saying: ”They told me to do it.”
