Harrelson confirmed that he would take the part in this war drama that takes place in 1968. It tells the story of the My Lai massacre that took place in Vietnam. There were 50 innocent people killed during this war which included women, children and the elderly.
Harrelson will play Colonel Henderson who was responsible for this attack. Bruce Willis, Michael Pena and Channing Tatum will also be in this movie. Mikko Alanne wrote the screenplay, and filming will commence at the beginning of next year.
Oliver Stone has experience with war films. He has also done Platoon, Born on the Fourth of July, as well as Heaven and Earth.
