Tourists can now experience an innovative way to visit the Big Apple, an alternative to bus tours.
The Shearwater, a sailboat built in the 1920s and measuring nearly 25 meters, now provides visitors with a tour of New York from a different angle.
Tourists wishing to see this unique experience can board the yacht at North Cove marina, close to the World Financial Center in Lower Manhattan.
The cost of the trip starts at 45 dollars US and according to passengers who boarded at different times of the day, the best time to cruise is at sunset.
The Shearwater will continue its tours until October 15 and will return again in April 2010.
