Yellowstone National Park Has Record Year

The popularity of national tourism is visible in Yellowstone Park.

More and more tourists are reducing their annual vacation spending by traveling to local and national parks. This is particularly true for Yellowstone National Park in Wyoming.

Created in 1872, Yellowstone National Park is the oldest national park in the world. In addition to Wyoming, the park also touches a small part of Idaho and Montana.

This year, the park recorded an increase of visitors in the months of June, July and August, an increase of 5% more compared to the same time in 1999. This accounts for 2.5 million more visitors to the park this year.

The Yellowstone National Park is famous for having two-thirds of the most geysers in the world. Geysers are hot springs that gush hot water from the earth at regular or irregular intervals. The most famous is Old Faithful Geyser, whose water rises to about 40 meters every hour.
