Yoko Ono Suing Two Companies

Yoko Ono is suing two record companies that have not paid royalties for her former husband, John Lennon’s album sales.

The widow of the former Beatle is claiming $10 million dollars from EMI and Capitol Records for neglecting to pay author’s rights.

The companies claim it is "sometimes differences of opinion", in terms of who should be paid when the singer is deceased.

According to the document submitted to the Superior Court of Manhatten, the labels have, "intentionally and systematically rendering dishonest and grossly deficient accounting statements".
