Yves Rocher unveils colorful spring collection

French cosmetics pioneer showcases ‘ultra-colors.’

The French company that pioneered the modern use of natural ingredients in cosmetics,Yves Rocher, has unveiled its new spring make-up collection with bold ultra-colors that create a daring, assertive look.

Protective chamomile extract is incorporated into the soft-textured waterproof eye pencil which comes in vibrant metallic shades of copper, turquoise, violet, green, blue and black.

The ultra-pigmented black eyeliner guarantees an intense look for 12 hours. The soft, ultra-fine tip allows for high-precision lining, and ingredients include soothing chamomile water.

The patented round-tipped 2-in-1 brush and comb mascara wand catches every lash, covering the entire length with no clumps. The 100 percent coverage promises a 360o wide-open look. Enriched with almond protein, the ultra-fine mascara offers a flawless 12-hour hold, and is available in black, brown, and charcoal grey.

The new spring collection will be available in stores and online in April, and is affordably priced from $12 to $19.  

Founder Yves Rocher was inspired by the herbs and plants of his native region, and started the company that bears his name in 1959, transforming it into one of France’s most well-known beauty brands, with annual sales of about $2.88 billion and 2,000 stores worldwide.

According to the company’s website and mission, Rocher was against animal testing of products, once commenting, "If you have to test your ‘products’ on animals, you don’t know what you’re doing."
