Zac Efron Hospitalised

According to People, the actor was taken to the hospital yesterday (January 15).  The star of High School Musical was taken to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center where he had his appendix removed.

His rep stated, "Zac had his appendix removed and is recuperating."

The 20-year-old actor just signed an agreement to play in the third installlment of High School Musical. He is presently filming the movie Seventeen, opposite Matthew Perry.
