According to The Hollywood Reporter, the star of the NBC series Chuck, will star opposite the Chipmunks in Alvin in the Chipmunks: The Squeakquel.
Levi will play the cousin of Jason Lee’s character, Dave. He will live with the three rodents, the Chippettes, Brittany, Jeannette and Eleanor, who were also introduced in the 1980s TV cartoon.
Justin Long, Matthew Gray Gubler and Jesse McCartney will once again provide voices for the chipmunks.
The first Chipmunks film earned more than $217 million in North American box offices in 2007.
