Architect Zaha Hadid will follow in the footsteps of Vivienne Westwood and Alexander Herchcovitch in designing a shoe style for the brand Melissa, reports Vogue.fr.
Hadid claims that she’s been looking for 30 years for new areas in design and architecture, and that this project will be a real challenge.
The synergy between the architect and the Brasilian company will give rise to the plastic shoe, Melissa + Zaha Hadid. The shoe will come in eight colours, including red, black and silver.
The launch of the new model from the collaboration is set for September 18, during Fashion Week in London.
