The legendary Phil Collins gave his last concert. The drummer and singer is retiring due to health problems.

Collins’ last tour took place with Genesis bandmates Mike Rutherford and Tony Banks, who reunited for a final tour after a 14-year absence. The final concert was presented Saturday at the O2 Arena in London.

Genesis was completing its tour The Last Domino ? which had begun the previous September. It was at that time that fans were surprised to see how precarious the singer’s health was.

It is a Phil Collins diminished by a dislocation of vertebrae in his neck that causes him nerve damage in his hands and prevents him from playing the drums, who presented himself on stage one last time.

At the end of this last concert, the 71-year-old star told the crowd that « he’s going to have to get a real job.

Genesis formed in 1967 and rose to fame in the 1970s, selling over 100 million records. Phil Collins became the band’s drummer and backup singer in 1970, before becoming the lead singer in 1975.
