Fleury, Crosby, Malkin and Letang reunited for the last time for one game
We’ve known it for a long time now, but Marc-André Fleury is back in uniform after spending the first 13 seasons of his career there. If some teams want to bring him out of retirement, that’s not the Penguins’ plan. The Penguins’ plan, on the heels of what promises to be a difficult season, is to give fans a gift by reuniting Sidney Crosby, Evgeni Malkin, Kris Letang and Fleury for one last time in a professional game.

It’s a legendary photo and perhaps (already) the NHL photo of the year.
The four teammates took a similar photo not so long ago, but the goalie wasn’t in the yellow-and-black uniform.

[content-ads] In anticipation of Fleury’s last professional game (unless the teams convince him not to hang up his skates for good), it was his kids who shouted “It’s the hockey night in Pittsburgh”. Fleury, smiling, saw it all from the bench. The Québécois will finish the game, and I dare imagine there will be quite a celebration afterwards. It’s not the game with the highest stakes, we agree, but I dare believe that Pittsburgh would like to win. The Penguins were one of the greatest dynasties of the 19th century (so far). There’s something special about seeing the four biggest pieces of this prestigious organization reunited just over eight years after their last Stanley Cup [spacer title=’Overtime’] – Welcome to the QMJHL.
First goal for the first-overall pick.

– Ah well.
Friedman on 32TP says Rangers approached Panarin about taking less, like Kopitar did for the Kings, obviously that hasn’t happened yet and Panarin remains unsigned, Friedman doesn’t know where it goes from here or if that’s a possibility.
