George Clooney Being Sued by French Author

According to Stephanie Vergniault, Clooney and his partners copied her scenario for their film Syriana.

The author’s complaint will be heard in a Paris court on Monday, April 10. 

Vergniault claims that her script from 2002, entitled Oversight, which was registered with the French Society of Drama Authors and Composers, was used for Clooney’s film.

Syriana has earned nearly $85 million at box-offices world wide since its release last November.
