George Michael Arrested

The incident took place last Saturday, after an annonymous caller notified police that the singer was asleep in his vehicle.  A police spokesman said: "We were called by a member of the public to a man seen slumped over the steering wheel of a car on the street close to Hyde Park Corner."

Police confirmed the arrest of the 42 year-old star, stating that drug possession will be the charge that Michael will face in court next month. 

A police spokesperson said, "A search of the man revealed what was believed to be controlled substances."
