Gladiator Sequel Possible

According to IMDB, Djimon Hounsou, who played the role of an African slave in Gladiator, confirmed that a sequel is planned.

He says there is “definitely the desire to do a sequel. They’re not happy about what they have for now, so they’re still working on it.”

Gladiator was hugely successful in 2000, earning 5 Oscar awards.

Hounsou added, “I would probably be in the centre of it as one of the leads.”
