Halle Berry and Alicia Keys a Team

In this film, Keys, 23, has the starring role, while Berry will be producing. 

Composition of Black and White is based on the life of Philippa Schuyler, a pioneer in interracial battles in the United States.  She died tragically in May 1967, in a helicopter crash.

Halle Berry commented on the choice of the leading actress.  "I adore Alicia and there’s nobody more perfect for it than her."
