Hilary Swank To Play a New York Attorney
Swank is going to play the main character from Emily Griffin’s book, released in 2005.
The Oscar-winning star of Million Dollar Baby and Boys Don’t Cry, will take on the role of a Manhattan lawyer who falls in love with her best friend’s fiancé, just after she celebrates her thirtieth birthday.
According to Variety, the contract between Swank and her partner and the author, also includes the rights to the book’s sequel, "Something Blue."
Hilary Swank’s latest project is Amelia, where she shares the screen with Richard Gere and Ewan McGregor. The film is expected to be released in a little over a year. The project is currently shooting in Canada.
