Jessica Biel Can Sing

The 27-year-old star made her live stage debut in the musical Guys and Dolls at the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles.

Biel played Sarah Brown in the production, a missionary at odds with a gang of gamblers.

The actress admits that it’s been several years since she has performed in front of a live audience. "I did a concert version of Tommy when I was in college. But, other than that, it was 8, 9, 10, 11, 12 when my big musical-theatre world was happening. So it’s been 10-plus years since I’ve done anything like this," she explained.

When asked if she is now setting her sights on Broadway, Biel responded, "It has always been a dream of mine to do something on Broadway. I don’t know what that would be, but I would definitely, definitely consider it."

Biel is currently filming the romantic comedy Valentine’s Day, which is expected to reach theatres in February 2010.  She also provided her voice to the animated film Planet 51, which will be in theatres in November.
