According to reports from TMZ, police officers decided to pull over Justin Timberlake after observing his vehicle veering out of its lane and failing to stop at a stop sign.

The encounter reportedly took place shortly after the star left a restaurant on Long Island.

During the exchange with the officers, the singer reportedly tried to justify himself by mentioning that he was on tour, going so far as to say, “I’m Justin Timberlake,” as if he hoped to be recognized.

Despite the intervention of a friend, who reportedly emphasized his fame in hopes of preventing his arrest, the officers reportedly concluded that he had failed the tests, before handcuffing him and taking him to the station.

Footage released against the star’s wishes

The release of this video reportedly follows a legal agreement allowing for the publication of an edited version of the footage. Justin Timberlake’s team had initially attempted to block its release, citing concerns regarding his privacy and reputation.

As a reminder, in September 2024, the artist pleaded guilty to a reduced charge related to this incident. He was subsequently fined, had his license temporarily suspended, and was ordered to perform community service.
